Stories of Transformation
At Parent Villages, we believe every story of resilience deserves to be heard. One of our parents came to us while experiencing homelessness and found support through PV CARES sessions. With encouragement and resources, she earned a scholarship, graduated with a four-year degree, and is now pursuing her master’s degree.
We also celebrate the voices of our youth. One student who entered our Summit Nights program was withdrawn and hesitant to share. Through the safety and empowerment of our programs, she discovered her voice and went on to publish her very own poetry book.
And at our Education Matters event, Jayla, a student deeply impacted by our programs, shared her journey with the community. Her story was later featured in our newsletter, serving as a beacon of hope and proof of the change we create together.
Outcomes Your Sponsorship Supports
Transformation is at the heart of what we do. Parent Villages’ two-generational model creates opportunities for both parents and youth to grow, thrive, and succeed. Through our Education Matters Brunch, we have invested more than $208,000 directly back into the community.
To date, 60 students have received $1,000 scholarships to pursue college or trade school, while two parents have been awarded $2,500 each to advance their own education. We have also honored 40 Unsung Heroes and celebrated several legacy leaders, recognizing seven individuals who dedicate their lives to education and community impact.
Our programs also meet families where they are. Through PV CARES, parents express that even the simplest wishes — like the dream of “a 10-minute walk” — are recognized and supported, underscoring the depth of needs we address. Family engagement events continue to bring hope, healing, and empowerment to the families we serve.
Youth engagement remains a cornerstone of our work. For the past four years, Summer Nights has consistently attracted an average of 35 youth annually at no cost to families. Many continue to attend even without registering, demonstrating the value they find in our programs.

Together, we act as ambassadors of our mission and vision, building collaborations that extend beyond transactional support.
Our long-term goal is the development of a Nonprofit Advocacy Center — a village hub where families can access services around the clock and where parents who begin their journey with us can grow into leaders and advocates within their own communities. We welcome partners who are eager to share in this vision and walk alongside us in building a stronger, more resilient future.
Our Commitment to Transparency
We are committed to tracking the outcomes that matter most. Each year, Parent Villages serves hundreds of families and youth through programs designed to break cycles of violence and trauma. Our Parent Advocacy Fellowship and Youth Leadership Programs achieve strong completion rates between 78%–100%.
Our reach continues to grow, with more than 30,000 people engaged online and over 700 reached in person annually. Since inception, we have awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships to youth and parents and reinvested more than $200,000 into the community. Youth retention remains high, with consistent participation in Summit Nights and demand exceeding capacity — a true testament to the impact of our programs.
