Support Services
Parent Villages’ Support Services Department offers free support and advocacy to individuals and families in need.
Our primary aim is to help them find the necessary resources to overcome any obstacles they may be facing. These services are supported by a grant awarded by the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance (MOVA) through the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance Grant Program. We provide a range of support services, including:
Support Services
- Assisting with applications for victim compensation
-Advocacy with legal/court concerns
- Offering financial literacy education
- Providing transportation assistance to and from appointments
- Helping individuals apply for government assistance programs
- Conducting initial wellness checks and providing referrals for therapeutic services
- Providing advocacy support for parents and students in the school system
- Assisting with finding necessities such as food and hygiene supplies
- Helping with housing searches and providing access to housing resources
-Assisting with finding other resources an individual may need
